Welcome to Zuleika Parkin’s website.

Zuleika is an artist and an art dealer.

Born in Norfolk in 1988, Zuleika was fortunate enough to have parents involved in the arts. Her father, Michael Parkin is an art dealer and her mother, Diana Parkin, is an artist. Inheriting their interests for the arts from a young age, Zuleika was often found in the art department at Gresham’s school. Her love for printmaking led to a foundation degree at Wimbledon Art School, gaining a merit in 2008. This quickly progressed into selling her own prints. Zuleika is currently represented by Storm Fine Art, Burham Market. Please visit www.stormfinearts.com

In 2008, Zuleika went on to read History of Art at Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2011. While working towards her degree, Zuleika continued selling her artworks to help pay for her degree as well as working for several Norfolk and London art galleries, including Bernard Jacobson Gallery and Aretha Campbell Fine Art most recently.

Zuleika wishes she could work for her father in a gallery. However, Michael Parkin sadly closed his Motcomb Street gallery in 1998, due to the rise in rental rates and auction houses commercialising. Michael has been dealing since his first gallery in Belgravia in 1972. With over 40 years of experience and at the grand age of 80, Michael continues to deal today with his youngest daughter, Zuleika, dealing time to time from private sales and art fairs. However, keen to go in her own direction, Zuleika sells her own works of art alongside representing other contemporary British artists. Please click on ‘Zuleika’s artworks’ and ‘artists represented’ to view artworks.
